Our German Shorthaired Pointers are bred and cared for so that they become more than just a hunting partner; they become an extension of your family.
Our dogs are cared for in a 1,200 sq. ft. indoor kennel area where each dog has access to the entire space. Individual exterior facing kennel doors from K-9 Kondo give each of our Shorthaired Pointers access to an 7,500 sq. ft. outdoor space with a dog run area.
Dog Training
Basic obedience training is an essential part of responsible dog ownership. It quickly establishes a bond between you and your Shorthair and makes them a joy to live with. In urban areas, there are obedience clubs which offer training classes, starting with very young dogs and working up to advanced courses.
If courses are unavailable in your local area, there are many books and online video tutorials available. Our friends at Triple Flush Kennel have a great selection of online training tutorials. These techniques and practices are used at Futral Farms when training our Shorthair pups.
